The Mondego Walkways cross some of the most impressive landscapes of the Serra da Estrela, between rivers, cliffs, and untouched nature.
Fresh air and the gentle murmur of streams and the Mondego River accompany the walk along the route. The Mondego Walkways offer breathtaking views and an experience that deserves to be lived. With around 12 kilometres in length, they are located in the municipality of Guarda, within the Estrela Geopark, a UNESCO-recognised territory. This trail crosses villages, suspension bridges, and crossing areas, revealing its potential to boost regional tourism. Access can be made via Celorico da Beira, through Videmonte, passing Linhares or Prados, or from Guarda, via Aldeia Viçosa and Famalicão da Serra. A unique route that invites discovery, contemplation, and direct contact with nature.
